Iran’s ‘A Hero’ to participate at IFFK

Iranian feature ‘A Hero’ has made its way to the International Film Festival of Kerala (IFFK) in India.

Asghar Farhadi’s ‘A Hero’ will be screened at the 26th edition of the Indian event next month.

‘A Hero’ is about Rahim, a divorced man who has been imprisoned due to unpaid debt. During a two-day leave, Rahim tries to prove that he is a good person.

The movie is starring Amir Jadidi, Mohsen Tanabandeh and Fereshteh Sadr-Orafaee.

‘A Hero’ was awarded the Grand Prix at the 74th Cannes Film Festival in France.

It also grabbed three awards at the Palm Springs International Film Festival in the US.

According to an annual poll of IndieWire, an American film industry and review website, ‘A Hero’ was announced as one of the best 50 movies of 2021.

The 26th edition of the International Film Festival of Kerala will take place on March 18-25.
